March 25 to June 24 Want to venture into business? You might want to catch the seminar series that the City of Sydney is launching by the end of this month. The series is composed of four seminars targeted toward small- and medium-sized businesses wanting to make it in fast-paced Sydney. The first seminar, "Your Business, Your City, Your Future," happens on March 25, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at the Customs House on Circular Quay. Lord Mayor Clover Moore will be present and give Sydney residents an idea of the city's plans. Speaker Simon Reynolds will let you see how persistence, belief, and vision can help your business. "Marketing Matter" is the subject of the second seminar, which happens on April 28, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Glebe Town Hall. This topic will teach you how statistical date will help you understand emerging market trends. The third seminar, happening on May 27, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., is something entrepreneurs now can certainly not do without-technology. This lesson will teach you how to maximise your online presence on the World Wide Web. Venue is the Paddington Town Hall. The final seminar, wrapping up on June 24 at 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., is "Connect with People and Build Relationships" and teaches you how to motivate your staff, how to expand your business network, and how to keep customers.
