February 24
If you want something action-packed, don’t miss the Western QBE Moto Mayhem Motorcycle Games. With the previous Moto Mayhem at Oran Park in February 2007 and the Calder Park in Vic 2007 having been a huge success, organizers are expecting the Western QBE Moto to be a hit with riders and the public.
The Western QBE Moto Mayhem covers eight different forms of motor racing. These are the Freestyle Motor X, Supermoto, Stunts, Fast 50's, Motor X, Enduro X, and Trials, with the addition of Scooter racing this year. And not just that: the event also features a natural-terrain Evo Moto X event with vintage bikes that shouldn’t be missed. More than 600 riders, including pros and international Aussie talent, are expected to participate in this year’s Western QBE Moto. Each form will be given an hour to show. Daddies who would like to go need not attend alone as the event also has other activities for the children such as huge jumping castles, rides, posters for autographs, as well as promotional items. The Western QBE Moto Mayhem happens on February 24, Sunday, at the Oran Park Raceway. The contest will start at 9 a.m., so try to be there by 8:30 a.m., when the gates open. Tickets are available at the gate, but groups may want to contact Trish (0404046727) and Mark (0419971161) for tickets. For e-mail inquiries, send your messages to
