Take an in-depth look at Sydney's past too at The Rocks, scene of the 1900 bubonic plague that wiped out a population. That rocky sandstone ledge is the scene of the arrival of the First Fleet on 26 January 1788 under Capt. Arthur Phillip, the beginning of the British settlement of Australia.
Tours follow carefully planned routes through parks, harbour fronts, and large sidewalks at minimal amount of time. Cruise comes with 3 midi-sized drinks during the tour of The Rocks. Rain coats are provided whenever it rains.
Location: Portabello Café, in East Circular Quay (2 Macquarie Street, Sydney), near the Opera House. A guide will be waiting with a bicycle, shiny helmet, a bright red t-shirt, a bicycle mounted bag to store your belongings it.
Time: Daily at 2.15pm. Book at least 48 hours in advance of your travel date. Tour not suitable for children 17 years and under.
